Anna Trimble joined Hunter Research as an Archaeologist in January 2025. Anna has experience in both laboratory and fieldwork operations that includes Phase I–Phase III archaeological surveying and excavation, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), and artifact bagging, processing, and cataloging. She recently worked on the Clara Barton House Phase II Archaeological Investigation in Glen Echo, Maryland.

Anna is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh’s Anthropology and Classics programs (B.A., 2024). During the course of her undergraduate studies, she gained vital lab and field experience through departmental internships and served on the Executive Board for the Mediterranean Archaeology Club and Anthropology Club. She participated in the Lechaion Harbor and Settlement Land Project (LHSLP), an archaeological field school near Corinth, Greece, and was promoted to Assistant Trench Supervisor for the summer of 2024. Prior to joining Hunter Research, Anna served as Archaeological Field Technician for Michael Baker in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
