Many of the studies carried out by Hunter Research generate historical information that merits dissemination to the general public through some means more accessible than a technical report. In some cases, artifacts recovered during archaeological investigations are worthy of display; in others, historical and archaeological materials can be incorporated into interpretive signage, building restorations and landscaping plans.

Hunter Research routinely prepares artifacts, historic images and copies of archival materials for display in museums, government agencies, corporations and various institutional and conference settings. Clients we have serviced in this capacity include the New Jersey State Museum, the Delaware and New Jersey Departments of Transportation, the Old Barracks in Trenton, Marriott Hotels, the Central Park Conservancy and the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Foundation.

Over the past five years the firm has developed expertise in designing and creating historic interpretive signage and exhibits suitable for installation at historic sites and in parks. This work has entailed concept development, historical research, image selection, text writing and graphic design. Our work in this area is best displayed in the recently opened, history-themed South River Walk Park on Trenton's Delaware riverfront and along the Delaware and Raritan and Morris Canals.
