Henry McMahon joined Hunter Research as an Archaeologist in September 2024. His current duties include a variety of fieldwork operations, primarily involving Phase I–Phase III archaeological surveying and excavation projects. He has recently worked on the Clara Barton House Phase II Archaeological Investigation in Glen Echo, Maryland, and the Cedar Hill Stage III Archaeological Mitigation in Wyckoff Township, New Jersey.
Henry is a magna cum laude graduate of The College of Wooster’s Archaeology program (B.A., 2024). In the summer of 2022, he worked as a field and lab technician for the Sanisera Archaeology Institute, based in Menorca, Spain. For the following two summers, Henry was invited to join el Proyecto Arqueológico Waka’, based in the department of Petén in Guatemala, as a field and lab technician where he assisted in the documenting of ceramics, monumental architecture and material culture.
