Andrew C. Martin
Senior Archaeologist and Equipment Manager, B.A.
Mr. Martin joined Hunter Research, Inc. in 2003 as a Field Assistant. He was promoted to Crew Chief in 2008 and after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology in 2008 was made a Senior Archeologist in 2009. He has over a decade of experience in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania participating in cultural resource surveys, mitigations, and monitoring projects for a host of clients. Mr. Martin is particularly skilled at managing fieldwork but he is also an experienced prehistoric artifacts analyst and has begun assisting in report writing. His primary interests lie in Northeastern prehistoric archaeology and is currently working on his Master’s degree in Anthropology at Monmouth University. For the past few years he has spent several weeks each summer helping with the excavation of a neolithic site in the Orkney Islands of Scotland.
